Cornflour, also known as cornstarch, is a natural thickening agent that can be used as a thickener for hearty winter meals such as soups, vegetable stews and casseroles.
How to use: Mix a little with cold water to form a paste or a slurry as it is also known, before adding to the liquid that you wish to thicken.
